In an effort to open up the Republican Convention and the process of writing of the Republican Party platform to as many Texans as possible, Congressman Mike Conaway has launched an interactive feature on his Web site that will allow Texans to submit their proposals for consideration by the Republican Platform Committee.

Today, National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Tom Reynolds (NY-26) announced the selection of freshman U.S. Rep. Mike Conaway (TX-11) to the NRCC's Executive Committee for the 2006 election cycle. In this capacity, Conaway will be instrumental in developing and implementing the Republican Party's strategy to grow its majority in the U.S. House of Representatives.
